Foxy Shazam Greetings!

We're a month away exactly from Flying Pig Marathon Weekend powered by P&G! Friday, May 3 kicks off the 15th anniversary celebration and we've got big news:

Foxy Shazam Headlines Friday Night Pig Party!

National recording artists Foxy Shazam will be our headliner act for the new Friday night community celebration brought to you by Horseshoe Casino on May 3 to kick off Flying Pig Weekend! Join us for the Little Kings Mile on Main Street, then stick around for the party at Main Street and Mehring Way where Foxy Shazam will rock the house from 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. And if you haven't signed up for the newest part of the Christian Moerlein Beer Series, the Little Kings Mile, there's still time to get into the field. Just go to flyingpigmarathon.com and register today.

Deadline is Today to Get Your Name on Your Bib

Speaking of deadlines, today, April 3, is the deadline to sign up to have your name printed on your bib. Hear the cheers from the crowd as they call your name and encourage you on! Register at flyingpigmarathon.com.

Skyline Chili It's Skyline Time

The Flying Pig welcomes Skyline Chili as the sponsor of our 3-Way and 4-Way challenge, as well as the Skyline Chili High School Challenge, presented by Fleet Feet. If you haven't stepped up to the 3-Way (or 4-Way) yet, there's still time to register for the two-day, three event series within Flying Pig Weekend. Challenge yourself for a series of events, and make it Skyline Time at the Pig!

Paycor Paycor Corporate Relay

There's still room, and still time, to get your company involved in the Paycor Corporate Relay. Get three of your coworkers, form a team and pick a charity (or designate your gift to the Flying Pig Charities). There, you're all set to have a great time, get some good exercise and help a good cause, all in one event. Visit flyingpigmarathon.com's registration page to sign up.

Want to Switch events? There's a Form for That

Maybe you want to 'fly up' from the half marathon to full, or injuries have cut your training time down so you'd rather do the half but signed up for the full. Visit the registration page and switch out on line, or you can do it at the P&G Health & Fitness Expo at the Duke Energy Convention Center during Pig weekend.

Executive Transportation Executive Transportation partners with the Flying Pig

Executive Transportation is offering great deals on shuttle rides from the Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport to all downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky hotels. It's $20 one way, or $30 round trip, with reservations that you can make at www.executivetransportation.org. Note the "Flying Pig Marathon" in the details of service box to get your special rate! Or do it over the phone at (513) 352-2135 (local) or 1-800-990-8841 (out of town).

Greening of the Pig The Pig Goes Green to Get You Around

Much like the Flying Pig Marathon has been about athletes and communities in motion, the past few years we've made considerable strides to make the movement of water, power, products and people more efficient during race weekend. Water will be in good supply, but we continue working to reduce our water footprint while using eco-friendly deodorizers in our portable toilets to reduce toxicity of waste water. You'll also notice a number of Toyota hybrids, bicycles and golf carts moving supplies during the weekend. For participants, our free carpool parking was a hit last year, with more than 400 permits claimed. So, you can leave your vehicle behind while enjoying the festivities and cheering on your favorite participant.

New for the 15th Anniversary Race Weekend!

We're partnering with our local transit agency, Metro, to offer low cost day passes to you can wander around Cincinnati freely on Sunday with just one ticket. To make your reservation for the carpool parking permit or the Flying Pig Day Pass, go to to the Flying Pig homepage.

The Flying Pig Green Team works to achieve recertification as a sustainable race event for its 15th Anniversary Weekend. Help us to make this year's Flying Pig Weekend the greenest ever, by changing how YOU get from there to here!

Run-Muck-Bike!

Sign up for three great Cincinnati events for just $100 and get ready for the Pig at the same time. Run MS is a new 5K run April 27 at Cincinnati's Yeatman's Cove. Then you can Bike MS, the area's premiere cycling event, with 25, 50 or 75 mile courses. That's August 24 and 25 at Camp Kern in Oregonia, Ohio.
