Greetings!
Welcome to Day 15 of our daily e-mail blasts to help you prepare for the 10th annual Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon events.
So what's your personal goal at this year's
Flying Pig Marathon? Here's why Amber Kilgore
from Northville, Michigan is running:
..."This will be my fifth marathon and I
chose it because my best friends from college
live in Cincinnati. My goal is...to beat
Oprah. Yes, I have run four marathons and am
slower than Oprah. She can have more money,
more friends, more shoes, better trainers
etc., than me but she cannot be faster than
me! I think her time is 4:29 and my fastest
thus far is 4:35. I think she
might be eating my dust soon...!" Why are you
coming to the Pig this year? Email us at media@flyingpigmarathon.com
along with your contact information.
Pig Points
Attention relay runners: When you
finish your segment, make sure you take the
relay bus back to the finish line area. That
is where you will get your relay medal, your
finishers' shirt and all the food and goodies
you get as a Flying Pig Marathon finisher!
Don't miss the party, come down to the finish
line and celebrate with your relay team.
Flying Pigs at the Ball Park
Celebrate with the Cincinnati Reds the day
after the Marathon! The Reds are celebrating
Flying Pig Marathon night at Great American
Ball Park on Monday, May 5th as the Reds take
on the Cubs. The first 500 to show up get to
parade around the field just before the game.
For your Flying Pig tickets, go to www.flyingpigmarathon.com

The Greening 'o the Pig
When you pick up your one-of-a-kind
collectors' edition Flying Pig Marathon
poster, note that the poster materials come
from recycled paper. Thanks to Zumbiel
Cincinnati for making sure the Pig stays
'green' in 2008!
