Pump N Run to Honor First Responders
The Lord's Gym PumpNRun event is honoring the men and women
who serve our country as police officers, fire fighters, and military
personnel who are currently serving in the USA. They will be eligible to
participate, FOR FREE, in our inaugural "American Heroes"
Fitness Competition at the Duke Energy Convention Center on May 4th.
Men and women will compete just like they do in the Pump N
Run; but, they will NOT have to run. It's a weightlifting only
competition whereby the participant bench presses a percentage of
their body weight. There will be a Pump-Off Championship at Sawyer Point
on Saturday, May 5th, at noon complete with medals.
If you are currently an active duty fire fighter, police
officer, or military personnel working in the USA you can sign up at www.pumpandrunrace.com
for this weightlifting only competition. Any funds raised will be used to
benefit The Lord's Gym that serves the poor and under-resourced . Contact
Scott Bowers at sbowers@focas-us.org
