    Registration for Hope and Possibility
    Hope & Possibility
    Achilles

The Flying Pig Marathon has partnered with The Resident Home Corporation (RHC) and The New York City Achilles Track Club to present the 2nd Annual Hope & Possibility 5K Run/Walk. The Hope & Possibility event will offer a unique opportunity for everyone in the Greater Cincinnati area. Our goal is to encourage people of ALL abilities to be a part of a fun event while meeting new friends along the way. The race will pair people with varying abilities on the course and in training. The pairing of the teams will allow the partners to push each other's competitive edge and build a bond beyond their physical realities. The Hope & Possibility is a run that will break down barriers and create a unique opportunity for integration and inclusion. For more information regarding the Hope & Possibility please visit www.rhcorp.org or download the details.

To register for the Hope & Possibility, please scroll to the top of this page for the registration form. If you are an athlete that would like to be paired with a guide or an athlete interested in being a guide for an athlete with a disability, please contact RHC's Alex Carabin at 513-619-2960 or at acarabin@rhcorp.org. Please send your name, contact information and specify if you would like to be paired with someone you know who has also registered or if you would like to be paired with a new friend.

The Cincinnati Flying Pig Kid's Marathon

The Nutrition Council and The Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon are partnering to bring The Flying Pig Kids' Marathon to your school/group/or family! This fitness program with a proven track record can easily be implemented in your school or community setting. Participating students, with the support of their fitness buddies (parents and school staff), walk, run or wheelchair the 26.2 mile distance of a marathon in increments during the months leading up to the Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon. Participants cross the actual Flying Pig Marathon finish line as part of the Flying Pig Marathon Kids' One Mile. They also tackle nutrition miles and learn to make healthy eating a lifelong habit.

This program (now in its 9th year) is a terrific way to comply with Child Wellness requirements for schools as well as offer a non-competitive way to develop healthy fitness and nutrition habits for life.
