Join the RUNNER’S WORLD CHALLENGE
Run your best marathon or half marathon. No excuses.
The Cincinnati Flying Pig is proud to have been selected as the first race of Runner’s World magazine’s 2010 Challenge series. This unique program allows you to get advice from (and train with) the editors of Runner’s World using a program developed by Bart Yasso, RW’s Chief Running Officer. Bart has designed a training plan that you can tailor to fit your goals and needs. Whether you’re seeking a PR or just looking to finish your first marathon or half marathon, this program will provide the guidance you need to run your best. And at the race you’ll be treated to plenty of special perks.
Sign up for the challenge and you’ll receive:
- A race entry
- A Major League Experience with access to a VIP area at Paul Brown Stadium at the start and Great American Ball Park at the finish with refreshments, baggage check, and post-race massage
- A technical t-shirt with the Runner’s World Challenge logo
- A training plan designed by Bart Yasso, RW’s chief running officer
- A four-month trial of RW’s Personal Trainer, in partnership with TrainingPeaks, which lets you get training plans from Runner’s World, with the flexibility you need to tailor your training to fit your needs
- Weekly emails telling you about the workouts for the week ahead
- Access to a private RW website, where you can get advice from RW editors, plus motivation and support from other runners
